My passion for helping others has been the driving force throughout my diverse career, a pursuit born from my own personal journey of overcoming significant trauma and finding the path to healing and empowerment. This experience instilled in me a profound desire to support others facing their own challenges. For over two decades, I worked in varied healthcare specialties, which naturally led me to five impactful years as a Foster Care Case Manager and my ongoing commitment as a Certified Victim Advocate. This dedication extends to my continued involvement in education and, most recently, a return to the deeply meaningful work of supporting families through end-of-life organ and tissue donation. My ultimate aim is to be a steadfast advocate for my community, inspiring individuals, especially young people, to embrace education and realize their potential. I believe in the power of empathy and compassion to illuminate even the darkest times, empowering each person to discover their own bright path and create their unique contribution to the world.
